Artist Enrique Lopez is returning to the Queen City for the 2026 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

Enrique “QUIQUE!” Lopez is a freelance artist/writer/creator who started his career in the late 80s but went on to work in advertising for many years, garnering awards and accolades. In 2018 he decided to make a return to the comic book industry by inking a few pieces for fun from fellow artists such as Billy Tucci, Paul Abrams, Zack Dolan among others which lead to actual work. He has enjoyed success on the convention circuit having done numerous shows across the East Coast and Midwest states. He has been published as writer and artist in numerous anthologies: "Strange Stories: Vol 2", "Stupendous", "Horrendous", "Not So Fair Tales", "Modern Mythology"; Done covers for a number of independent comics : "Ameri-Kaiju", "Codename: Hunter", "Gunmetal Black Ops", “Bladeshot”. He has been a participating inker in the Inkwell Award's "Joe Sinnott Tribute Challenges.

He has worked as a sketch card artist for Rusty Ink's projects. He is currently the finisher/inker for Triple Threat Comic's "Codename Hunter" and “Soul Eraser” and as writer/artist for SeerNova Entertainment's upcoming anthology "Nightmare at Camp Lovejoy" - an homage to 80s slasher movies; The anthology “Might, Magic and Monster-in-Laws” saw the debut of character which he will be launching in his own comic book line in 2028. A long-awaited Memoir/Artbook "How the Heck Did I Get Here" with Introduction by Ian Miller and Afterword by Keith Williams (DC/Marvel) should also be out in 2027.
